PhRMA’s Medicine Assistance Tool (MAT) is a search engine designed to help patients, caregivers and health care providers learn more about the resources available through the various biopharmaceutical industry programs. MAT is not its own patient assistance program, but rather a search engine for many of the patient assistance resources that the biopharmaceutical industry offers.

NeedyMeds offers assistance with Pharmacy Assistance Programs, coupons and rebates and drug discount cards and more. A toll-free helpline is available to assist those who do not have access to a computer or who might need further assistance. At times, when the medication costs more than patients can afford,the Patient Advocate Foundation Co-Pay Relief Program can help by covering co-payments, co-insurance and deductibles required by a patient’s insurer for medications prescribed to treat and/or manage their disease.
